Hello Friends,

Lately I have had stillness in my spirit as I have been listening to Scripture Lullabies in our home on a Bluetooth speaker. I will play it as calm background music during play, dinner, at baths, and for sleepy time. I have also added the routine of lighting candles and lowering the overhead lighting and I can feel the calmness that runs through my son and I with these additions to our life.

I wanted to share music & resources we listen to that may be an encouragement and blessing to you and your family; all links to the resources I share can be found on my blog post at blessingsbyjill.blog. I feel incredibly grateful for the artists and musicians who so graciously and freely share God’s Word through worship, helping listeners grow in intimacy with Abba, Father. I am grateful for the ways my son is able to learn about Jesus and grow in his faith too; all praise and glory to the Lord.

1. Scripture Lullabies – I listen to them on Spotify & Youtube. This is incredibly peaceful music, rotted in God’s Word.
2. Worship 24/7 – I listen to them on the Worship 24/7 App, periodically on their livestream online, and on their radio station in Portland, 96.3 FM. They have so many resources for listeners, including a Go Deeper section, connecting to speakers sharing God’s Word; I recommend visiting their website or app to learn more. You can listen to the impact the station has had on listeners by hearing stories shared; my story is #12.
3. Scripture Hymnals– While I haven’t listened as frequently lately, I love that they are rooted in God’s word. I have them on my Spotify playlist to listen to and they can be found on Youtube.
4. Wondermore Kids: We watch them on both Youtube and Pureflix. They are a fun show with puppets, teaching children about God and other biblical principals. I like their Sing-Along with Wondermore Playlist, especially the longer episodes, such as 30+ Min of Kids Sunday School & Nursery Songs! I’ve Got The Joy, Jesus Loves Me | Wondermore Kids; I will play this on truck rides and my son and I are getting more familiar with the songs and singing along together.
5. Slugs & Bugs: We play this often on truck rides and in our home through Spotify, for faith-filled music and entertainment for my son and I to enjoy together. They also have videos and episodes on their Youtube. My son especially likes the song, Tractor Tractor by Slugs and Bugs.
